CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN WCF BEST CAT
Valid from 01.01.2026
GENERAL
WCF Best Cat is available for the following categories:
- Adults
- PH Adults (WCH title certificate is mandatory for participation)
- Neuters
- PH Neuters (WPR title certificate is mandatory for participation)
- All Kittens/Juniors from 3–10 months
- Veterans
- Household Pets (longhair and shorthair compete together)
Please note:
PH Adults and PH Neuters are evaluated in separate Best Cat ranking categories and do not compete in the Adult or Neuter Best Cat ranking.
1. WCF Best Cat is a ranking system for all registered cats whose owners are members of a WCF club.
Points are accumulated throughout the calendar year based on results earned at WCF-licensed shows.
2. Participation is voluntary, free of charge, and equally available to all WCF members.
Results from non-WCF members are not counted.
3. The accuracy of entered show results is the responsibility of the organizing club.
WCF Best Cat and WCF e. V. assume no liability for incorrect entries made by show organizers.
4. The WCF Best Cat season runs annually from January 1st to December 31st.
5. To participate, exhibitors must create a competitor profile at https://wcf-bestcat.de and register each cat individually.
6. An active WCF club membership must be visible in the exhibitor’s profile.
Without active membership, the results achieved will not be counted.
7. If a cat is shown with incorrect titles, unrecognized colours/breeds, or in violation of title progression
(correct order of achieved titles points), WCF Best Cat Support may reset the affected results to 0
and place the cat in Class 25 (Out of Competition).
Such corrections will be reported to the Board, the WCF Show Commission and the Disciplinary Commission.
This includes cases where a cat is entered in a lower title class than permitted, or where PH participation rules (D.13.3) are not fulfilled.
In such cases, all results for the affected show dates may be deleted.
8. Only WCF-recognized breeds and colours may participate in WCF Best Cat.
Cats of non-recognized breeds or colours are excluded from the ranking.
9. All information provided must be truthful. If inconsistencies are found, the results may be reviewed and corrected; in cases of deliberate fraud, the cat may be removed from the ranking.
10.For PH Adults and PH Neuters, participation is only allowed under the following conditions:
a. With an official WCH/WPR certificate issued by the WCF – The certificate must be uploaded to the cat’s profile.
The Support team may request a copy for verification.
b. During the interim period (maximum two months after receiving the last CACM/CAPM certificate) – A cat may participate in PH classes before the WCH/WPR certificate is issued, provided the exhibitor uploads:
- Proof of the GECH/GEPR title, and
- provides the last three CACM/CAPM certificates upon request.
Cats that do not fulfil these conditions may have their results reset to 0 and placed in Class 25 (Out of Competition)
11. PH Adults and PH Neuters are strictly prohibited from competing in title classes below PH. If a PH cat is entered in a lower class, all results will be deleted for the affected show dates.
12. Interim results are published regularly on https://wcf-bestcat.de. Their accuracy depends on the timely and correct submission of show results by the organizing WCF clubs. WCF Best Cat is not responsible for missing or late entries.
13. For assistance, exhibitors and clubs may contact WCF Best Cat Support.
COUNTING OF RESULTS
- For kittens/juniors and neutered kittens/neutered juniors, only the 10 best daily results are counted.
- For adults, PH adults, adult neuters, PH neuters, and household cats, only the 20 best daily results are counted.
- Household Pets, longhair and shorthair, compete together for Best Household Cat.
- No bonus points will be awarded from 01.01.2026 onwards. (e.g. for island exhibitions, so-called development areas or other special regulations). Only the standard Best Cat point system applies.
Any special permissions or exceptions granted prior to 01.01.2026 that would allow bonus points or additional multipliers
for shows from 01.01.2026 onwards, are no longer valid. - For Jubilee Shows, the cat’s entire daily result (traditional judging, BIS/BOB results, all WCF Rings including the Jubilee Ring) is multiplied by 1.5, rounded up if a 0.5 fraction occurs.
1. A daily result consists of the total points a cat earns:
- in traditional judging
- through participation in WCF Rings,
- through its placement in WCF Rings, and the number of defeated cats in that ring.
2. The show results of the cats must be reported to Best Cat by January 15th of the following year at the latest; otherwise, they will no longer be counted.
3. By April 1st of the following year, the final results of the previous year will be published.
4. By the end of May of the following year at the latest, the WCF Cat Olimpia Show will take place, during which the winners will be awarded, according to the following categories:

The National Winner ranking is calculated per country across all breeds, while the Breed Winner ranking is calculated worldwide
within each breed. A combination of both systems is not foreseen.
CORRECTION OF SHOW RESULTS
WCF e. V. / WCF Best Cat reserves the right to correct the entered results at any time based on the submitted show documents
(title certificates), but no later than February 28th of the previous year.
This includes corrections due to incorrect titles, unrecognized colours/breeds, or violations of title progression
(correct order of achieved titles points).
Such corrections do not require a disciplinary procedure, unless intentional fraud is proven.
WCF Best Cat Support will not manually enter individual show results into the system;
this remains the responsibility of the organizing club.
FRAUD BY MANIPULATION
WCF e. V. / WCF Best Cat reserves the right to take measures/sanctions in cases of obvious fraud or manipulation of the ranking,
and, in cases of serious violations, remove exhibitors/cats from the ranking.
